The BWI Business Partnership is an organization of major local and regional businesses and local, state and federal government agencies.  The central Maryland region - with BWI Airport, NSA, Ft. Meade and Arundel Mills Mall as its economic engines - has lead the state in job growth over the last five years.  Our unique partnership of business and government creates unique opportunities to influence the region's growth.

Great News!

Governor O’Malley signed the Transportation Funding Act earlier today; in that announcement was included $100 million for improvements to the MARC system, including weekend service. This was a high priority for the Partnership.

The Central Maryland Transportation Alliance has partnered with the BWI Business Partnership to launch

The Last Mile, a project that will identify gaps in access via public transportation to jobs in 3 key areas: the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) area, the Arundel Mills Mall area, and the Fort Meade area.
