These rail links provide business, visitors, and residents alike links through the corridor and beyond to the Northeast and the Eastern seaboard. Just 10 miles north of the Business District is the Port of Baltimore, with major shipping lines and cruise terminals. One of the most major highway enhancements planned for Maryland in decades, the Intercounty Connector, will link the Airport vicinity to technology and worker-rich Montgomery County and the I-270 corridor, further enhancing business opportunity. Over 30 hotels are clustered near the airport serve business travelers, conventioneers, those assigned to Ft. Meade on temporary duty, and a growing number of visitors.
