BWI Marshall Airport

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Maryland’s economic engine, is the 25th largest airport in the United States.  BWI is a hub for Southwest Airlines and home to a number of domestic and international airlines.  The Maryland Aviation Administration, the operator of the BWI Airport, works hard to create and maintain its easy-come, easy-go reputation. The airport was awarded a #1 rating by the Airports Council International for its size in customer service.  BWI  has also weathered the economic conditions far better than most, with an increase in passenger traffic 2009, and new records for passenger traffic in 2010.

Our members, who comprise the broader BWI community, have a vested interest in the continued viability of BWI Marshall Airport as a prime economic engine for the State of Maryland.  For the latest airport news, checkout the BWI Marshall press releases.

As a founding member of our organization, the airport and its community of employers continues to be in the forefront of our work. Our BWI office focuses on employee transportation, and we have active forums and workgroups on key issues and initatives.
